WILL BURNER
Will Burner brings over 30 years of frontline experience in public safety, risk management, and emergency response, making him a trusted Public Safety leader. As a former Fire Captain, Paramedic, and Police Lieutenant, he has firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by first responders and public safety agencies. His expertise spans business continuity, crisis management, and operational risk reduction, with a proven track record of improving safety outcomes and reducing financial losses for organizations in both the public and private sector.
Will has served in key leadership roles, including Unified Command Center Incident Manager, Safety Director, and Threat Liaison Officer Program Manager. He has successfully managed multi-agency emergency responses and developed risk mitigation strategies for government and private sector organizations.
With deep experience in incident command, electronic patient charting, and cross-agency communication, Will co-founded Unum Fuse to revolutionize the way public safety leaders manage patient care reporting and streamline critical information-sharing. His shared mission is to empower agencies with innovative, field-tested solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and life-saving decision-making.
ASHLEY LOSCH
I arrived in Arizona from Southern California in 1995 to attend Arizona State University where I later graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. I began my Fire Service career in December of 2000 and proudly served for 23 years with the Glendale Fire Department. In 2017 I transitioned from shift work to the crucial role of Public Information Officer. As the former Division Chief of Public Affairs, I tested my skills in crisis communication, social media, and public engagement.
In addition to my professional accomplishments, I am a graduate of FEMA’s prestigious Master Public Information Officer program, a designation held by fewer than 200 individuals nationwide. My passion for communication and creativity, desire for connection, and conviction to make a difference in people’s lives fuels me to continue navigating the ever-changing landscape of the fire service. I am the owner/operator of Blu Helmet Media, where I offers expert consulting, creative services, classes, and comprehensive communications strategies tailored for any organization looking to expand their reach.
